Privacy Policy
Vidyra (“we”, “us”) runs vidyra.ai, a service that turns text prompts and images into AI-generated video. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, name (if you give one) and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, email address and name. We never see your Google password.
- Content you create — prompts, uploaded images, characters, locations, series and the videos and images generated for you.
- Purchases — credit pack, amount and date. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Technical data — basic logs (time of request, pages visited, errors) used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To run your account, generate your content, and keep your credit balance.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To enforce our content rules — prompts and uploads are checked automatically for sexual or explicit content.
- To send account emails such as password-reset links. We don't send marketing email without your consent.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with the providers that run the service:
- fal.ai — runs the AI models that generate your videos and images (receives your prompts and uploaded images).
- OpenAI — content moderation of prompts and uploads.
- Stripe — payments.
- Vercel and Neon — hosting and database.
- Resend — sending account emails.
- Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
Google user data
When you sign in with Google we request only your basic profile (name, email, account ID) to create and sign in to your Vidyra account. We don't access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data, and we don't use Google user data for advertising.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account and content while your account is active. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@vidyra.ai from the address on your account and we'll remove it within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
Vidyra is not for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
